What is blogging? Jack explains.
Blogging is when you keep a blog, like this one, on the internet. Blogs are web pages that you can update and people can see what you are getting up to. They can be about any topic or even be a personal diary. This blog is about me, Jack, and my sister Jemima. We write mostly about our stupid neighbour because he’s so weird.
What is wordpress.com? Jemima explains.
Our blog uses wordpress.com. WordPress gave us this blog for free we just had to sign up with Mum’s help. It’s really easy! We got to choose the template and I chose pink writing and Jack got blue. When we have trouble trying to figure something out, Mum looks up stuff on the formums.
That’s forums. She just searches them for stuff. But we don’t even need her help anymore because I’ve figured it all out anyway.
Blogs for kids
There aren’t as many blogs out there on the web for kids as adults, but I don’t know why. Adults get to have all the fun. Well we’re going to change that, me and Jemima.

Yeah there are links to some good blogs for kids in the blogs for kids section of the blogroll. There are also some links here to webpages about kids blogging. Having a blog is a bit like having a journal, but better because you can let people anywhere in the world know what you think and what you like. And they can talk back by replying on the webpage!
